Energy: it is already within us, but due to constant distractions and outside influences, our energy can sometimes feel low and heavy. Meditation can help with this. This technique is aimed at taking your attention away from your surroundings and focusing it inward. This makes your intentions, thoughts, and internal conversations the center of attention instead of all sorts of external factors.
These 10 guided Energy meditations, narrated by me, are an accessible way to get started with meditation. But they are also great if you have been meditating for a while and want to incorporate a short meditation during the day. These meditations are designed to help you learn to guard your energy, recharge when your energy is low, or raise your own energy frequency.
Want to learn more about meditation and what it does for you exactly? I explain more about it here.
Why meditate?
The most important goal of meditating is to divert your attention away from your environment. You want to truly focus your attention entirely on yourself and your internal processes. This makes your intentions, thoughts, and internal conversations the center of attention instead of all sorts of external factors.
Just like with anything you can learn, you can build a neural network in your brain for meditation. This takes meditating from difficult, to better, to easy, to subconscious and automatic. The more knowledge you have about the brain and meditation, the better prepared you are to experience the benefits.

Meditation is scientifically proven
A study published in 2014 in Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews shows that meditating for 30 minutes every day for 8 weeks already makes a difference in our gray matter. This is because meditation stimulates neuroplasticity, the fact that we can change our brain. As a result, meditation exercises have a positive influence on, for example, our anxiety system, but also on how we deal with stress. All in all, I recommend that you meditate for at least 10 to 20 minutes every day. This way, you get used to the process faster and start feeling good about it sooner!
Prachtige stem, energie en inhoud.
Het zal van mij langer mogen maar dat komt omdat ik zo een fan ben van Charlotte.
